ABOUT US

Iran-Israel Alliance of Nations (IRISAN) is a team of Iranian and Israeli activists and academics of varying religious beliefs and ethnic ancestry interested in raising awareness of the political and ancestral history of the two nations in order to promote understanding and a venue for receptive relations.

IRISAN is an independent organization whose focus is to educate Iranians and Israelis living in the States, Europe or their native countries on the causes and detrimental outcomes of mutual intolerance due to misrepresentation and misinterpretation brought on by lack of accurate information.

IRISAN plans to implement its mission through various educational events and seminars, art exhibitions, travel opportunities and media specific outlets such as documentaries, articles and cultural publications.

OUR MISSION

IRISAN’s mission is help denizens of two nations recognize and form an alliance in order to begin the process of resolving challenges presented by anti Semitism, threat of nuclear violence, and other political and social unrests.

Over the centuries, there has ensued a schism of mistrust and intolerance between Iran and Israel who historically share a common heritage, yet are not privy to the details or to the existence of a common ancestry.

By offering a safe haven and venue for open discussion to learn of the common background and obligations towards one another, IRISAN hopes to promote a respective compassion to encourage people into peaceful actions and conversations thus actualizing a healthier, safer and more tolerance society for all.
